PC 459 – California Burglary Laws

In California, a burglary offense can be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony offense. California penal code 459 governs burglary offenses. According to the code, a person found guilty of a PC 459 violation can be ordered to serve three years in prison and pay a $10,000 fine.
